This face spray is perfect for hot summer weather!  I dont know about you, but when I get overheated, I become a little lethargic.  This is the perfect spray to keep you cool, calm and collected!

The Peppermint essential oil naturally cools you off, increases your alertness and enhances memory!

The Lavender essential oil is fantastic for your skin, it’s very soothing and relaxes your mind.

Here’s what you’ll need:

¾ cup filtered water

¼ cup apple cider vinegar (you can substitute witch hazel)

20 drops peppermint essential oil

20-30 drops lavender essential oil

2 – 4oz glass spray bottles

Directions:

Put the filtered water and apple cider vinegar (or witch hazel) into a glass container (a large mason jar works great for this.)  Add 20 drops of peppermint essential oil and then 20 drops of lavender essential oil.  Shake it up, smell it and decide if you would like to add more lavender.  Yum!

Now you can fill your spray bottles.

Made with Peppermint and Lavender essential oils.

Lightly mist your face as needed throughout the day, but especially after cleansing in the morning and evening. You can also use a cotton ball to apply.  Definitely apply this toner after you get out of the shower and don’t forget to follow up with a good moisturizer!

Store this in the fridge.

We don’t just want to put any essential oils in this blend.  We want to be sure anything we are putting in or on our body is pure, therapeutic grade.  I would not apply the essential oil I find at stores to my skin.  Afterall, anything applied to this big organ (the skin) goes directly into the body.  Most oils out there get cut with synthetics or are distilled with less-than-desirable practices.  The regulations on labeling and what can go into oils is really sketchy, so you want to do a little research.

I love using doTERRA essential oils.  I know they are the highest grade essential oils out there!  They are pure, potent, therapeutic grade oils that have been tested during the many stages of production to ensure the highest quality possible.
